The CBGS-0 switchgear (or its variants in the CBGS series) from Schneider Electric is one of the most advanced medium-voltage solutions, particularly appreciated in the industrial sector, commercial power generation and critical infrastructure.

- Gas insulation (GIS): Thanks to the use of SF6 gas as an insulating medium, the distances between phases are significantly smaller than in air-insulated switchgear (AIS). This allows the dimensions of the entire substation to be drastically reduced.

- Thermal monitoring: Can be fitted with wireless contact temperature sensors to detect failures before they occur (predictive maintenance).
